TOTAL FLUID IMMERSION COMPUTER Part 1 The first thing I had to do was to order some of the fluid goodness and give a thorough testing to verify it's claims. This is what I got. 2 x 5 gallon pails of Synthetic EDM 3001 Lite. At about $28 a gallon, it's not exactly cheap, but who said being on the forefront is cheap?
So I get it home tear it open and start checking it out. It certainly is dielectric and has the thin consistency I was looking for. Obviously you can't tell from the picture but the fan is spinning, albeit slower than in air, and the LED's are functioning normal. I left this in the pail running during this build, it's been in for 2 days in this picture.
I found a small 120v AC Submersible from a hardware store to use as a coolant pump. It double verified the consistency I wanted and should provide plenty of flow to get the heat out of the fluid
